Built for the Modern Legal Profession

Aspiriar Legal exists for a reason that matters to the people we work with: the legal profession deserves recruiters who treat it with the same rigour, discretion and care that lawyers bring to their clients.

For too long, legal recruitment has been a volume game. Junior consultants ringing every name in the database, generic CVs forwarded without context, and a culture of speed over substance. We do the opposite. Every brief is run by a senior consultant who has worked in legal recruitment for years and understands the difference between a 2 PQE corporate associate and a 2 PQE finance lawyer, between a regional firm's culture and a Magic Circle one, between hiring an NQ for fee earning and hiring one for partnership track.

We recruit only for permanent appointments. No interim, no contract, no day-rate work. Our clients hire to invest in their teams, and we partner with them on that basis.

Discretion

Confidential by default. We never share a candidate's name without consent, and we never advertise sensitive vacancies. The legal market is small - we treat it that way.

Honesty

We tell you when a brief is unrealistic, when a salary band will not attract the right candidate, and when a candidate is not the right fit. Sometimes that costs us a placement. We are fine with that.

Quality

Long shortlists are a sign of poor work. We send fewer, better candidates - each one calibrated to the brief and ready for the conversation. Volume is not a substitute for fit.

We do not place locums, contractors, paralegals on day rates or interim cover. Every appointment is for the long term.

You speak with the consultant running the search. No handoffs to juniors, no relays through a Partner you never meet.

Written Replacement Guarantee

Every placement is backed by a guarantee. If a candidate leaves within the agreed period, we run the search again at no fee.

No Spec CVs

We only send candidates with consent, briefed on the role and engaged with the opportunity. No fishing, no surprises.

Realistic Timelines

We tell you up front how long the search will take and update you weekly. Surprises in week six are a sign of a bad recruiter.
